If you look at the information from YOUR website that you used then you will notice that for 10th graders Crosby does lead in 10 areas as opposed to 5 for Dayton since 2006. If you look at 11th graders EXIT level information Dayton is ahead of Crosby in 11 areas as as opposed to 2 for Crosby. They are tied in 2 areas for the 11th grade test.In overall areas tested from 9th grade through 11th grade then Dayton leads Crosby in all areas tested by a score of 18 - 17 areas tested. PURPLE 4EVER Posted March 30, 2010 Report Share Posted March 30, 2010 TAKS scores aside...The real objective is to get the kids to pass the test and......Walk at graduation and actually receive a diploma....It is a scary thought to look at your districts number of actual 8th grade students and how many actually graduate in May.Many would be surprised at the percentage that actually graduates...A typical east Texas school district (rural areas) are graduating about 65 to 80% of their 8th graders, more close to 70%.
