its always fun to watch a qb rip up a talented defense

with all the talk all week from both sides who knew it would be decided on a blocked pat

what a great game it certainly lived up to the hype i was extremely impressed with the ec defense

Here is the Beaumont Enterprise write up:

East Chambers 14, Anahuac 13

Hank Jones rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns to help the East Chambers to a 14-13 victory over Anahuac.

East Chambers took sole possession of the District 23-2A with the victory. Anahuac held an undefeated district record when it won the league championship last season.

Anahuac's Cody Johnson rushed for a touchdown and threw for another one.

East Chambers is 6-2 overall and 4-0 in district play. Anahuac fell to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in league play.

Jones' second touchdown gave East Chambers a 14-7 lead in the third quarter. East Chambers kept its lead when Anahuac failed to make an extra point after a touchdown cut the margin to 14-13 in the fourth quarter.
