I heard a rumor today that Lamar was not going to have softball.. Anyone know anything about this?

Lamar Port Author does have softball. I am not sure when Lamar Beaumont is going to start but it is in the planning form what ai understand.

Billy Tubbs was quoted in the paper (during the summer I think) that they are behind on starting softball, so I think they are planning to have a team in 2011, but it's only a guess.  You could try emailing the athletic department, they may give you the answer.

Good grief, dub!  Are you trying to get someone's attention at Lamar Athletics over a message board?  Man, show a little creativity and do something like pick
up the phone and call Lamar Athletics. ???
