GAME OF THE WEEK

Vidor vs Central

The Black Pearl navigates across the Neches to transport the Pirates of Vidor to the Babe. The Pirates mighty offensive line controls this game, but as the Pirates three yards and a cloud of dust offense nears the goal line, the Jaguars defense stiffens and stalls out the drives. Meanwhile three long plays by Cental are the difference as the Jaguars find a way to get their playmakers into the Vidor secondary where they dodge and weave their way to the goal line. Central wins by 11 points and BMT Soulja disco dances to "Do the Hustle" at midfield after the game.

Lumberton vs Livingston

The town of Lumberton travels through the east Texas megalopolis of Woodville (it has 2 DQ's!) on their way to Livingston this Friday. Livingston has the size and speed to win this game, but the execution of the Raiders will put them on top. Look for the Raiders to get two early scores and then hold on as they stop the Lions in the 4th quarter to preserve the win. The team celebrates on the way home in Woodville with Blizzards for everyone at the DQ on HWY 69.

Ozen vs Nederland (HOMECOMING)

The Bulldogs celebrate homecoming and somehow find a way to win this one against the Panthers. A miracle 21 point 4th quarter rally vanishes a two touchdown Ozen lead. The Bulldogs send the Panthers back to south Beaumont with their tails between their legs.

LC-M vs PN-G

The Bears have their BOJO back. The Bears just took out the Indians of Cleveland and now their are trying to take out the tribe in Port Neches. Unfortunately for the Bears the Indians of PN-G have more powerful ammunition than their Cleveland counterparts. Look for the PN-G offense to race down the field in the first half and then hold on to the victory as an LC-M 2nd half comeback falls just short.

Game of the Week

Goose Creek Memorial vs Dayton (HOMECOMING)

The Patriots have their chest bowed out after taking the North Forest Bulldogs to the woodshed last week. Unfortunatley for the Patriots this Friday they will be trampled under the weight of a mighty Bronco stampede. The Broncos defensive speed is just too much for the Patriots while the Bronco offense churns out the yardage. The Broncos win, but they fall short of their 7 touchdown / district game average.

CE King vs Barbers Hill

The Panthers have been in the quack shack all week long trying to get cured of fumbleitis. The Panthers prowl onto the big hill off I-10 to take on the Eagles. CE King opens up a two touchdown lead in the first half, but after that it is all Eagles. The Eagles use three 2nd half turnovers to vault them to 2 and 0 in district play.

Galena Park vs North Forest

The winner of this game may not win again this year. The loser at least can say they still have a perfect record (but it is the wrong way). Galena Park will travel to North Forest Friday and take out the Bulldogs. The Yellow Jackets sting is back, while the Bulldogs of North Forest are still soaking in the flea bath.

Kingwood Park vs Crosby

The Cougars had a huge win last week while the Panthers were watching the Broncos go up and down the field in the 2nd half. This week the Panthers travel to Crosby where they will be in a catfight with the Cougars. Look for the Cougars to win their 2nd cat fight in a row this week. Crosby is victorious for the 2nd week in a row.
