Friendswood at Dayton

If you are at Bronco Stadium on Friday night you will be treated to one great game. Toups Graphics predicts both offenses will have the edge in this game. In the end look for the speed of the Bronco defense to break through and make a big stop. Both teams score above 30 points and the Broncos finally snap the Mustang woes.

GAME OF THE WEEK EAST OF THE TRINITY

West Brook vs Central

The Brook has had it's way with it's 4A sisters lately. Look for Central to play an inspired game but the Bruins will be have just too much fire power. In the end, the Jaguar and Panther skin rugs in the foyer of West Brook High will not be removed. West Brook stays king of the hill in BISD while Central must stay content with being the brides maid.

Crosby vs PN-G

Crosby will travel to the Reservation winless and they will leave just the same. Look for the tribes new chief to go to 2 and 0. Cherokee will be played all night as the Indians stymie the Cougars. The Indians go into week three undefeated while the Cougars have to be thinking if they can turn things around.

Lumberton vs Barbers Hill

This should be a great game, but look for 20-4A to get the upperhand this week as both PN-G and Lumberton will outscore the 19-4A opponents. Lumberton plays mistake free ball, meanwhile the Eagles will make one too many mistakes to soar to victory. Lumberton wins in a close one.

Last week the Titans let one BISD school beat them, but it won't happen again. Look for the Titans to roll, meanwhile the Panthers finally score in the 4th quarter to get their first touchdown of the season.

North Forest vs Houston Worthing (Thursday at Butler Stadium)

The Bulldogs are in a truck and the truck will pass up the park and head to the pound. Look for Worthing to stampede the Bulldogs which will be the second link of a chain that spells doom for the Dogs in 2009.

Pearland Dawson vs GC Memorial (Thursday Stallworth Stadium)

Can Goose Creek Memorial start the season off undefeated after week 2? Toups Graphics says they can. Thursday night will be spectacular at Stallworth for the Patriots. Friday at school there will be celebrations. Look for the Patriots to score in the 4th quarter to go ahead and then the defense will stop Pearland on downs.

Caney Creek vs CE King

The CE King Panthers are a far cry from the team they were last year. Look for the Panthers to remain winless as they will never be in the game. Late fourth quarter touchdowns by the Panthers will narrow the score, but it won't be enough.

Galena Park vs Montgomery

The Yellow Jackets are flying in a hardware store, but unfortunately they can't get off the bug killer aisle. Look for the Jackets to fall prey yet again in their second game. The Yellow Jackets will get shut out in Montgomery.

Magnolia vs Kingwood Park

Last week King Wood Park got their first victory of the 2009 season, but this week they will not get their second. Look for Magnolia's offensive and defensive lines to control the game. The game will be low scoring. A Kingwood Park at the end of the game prevents a shut out.

The Bears are going to be glad their is such a word as compassion. Look for the Mustangs to have their day in this one, as the second and third string play in the second half. The Mustangs start off 2009 with a huge bang scoring 30 plus points in both victories.

The Pirates will travel back down I-10 as undefeated in 2009. The Pirates manhandle St Thomas and churn out over 300 yards of rushing offense. The Pirates will be hard to stop in 2009.
