Hawkeye Posted August 2, 2009 Report Share Posted August 2, 2009 Dayton Chamber Sponsors Tailgate ‘09 DAYTON, July 29, 2009 - The Dayton Chamber of Commerce is hosting Tailgate’09 on Thursday, August 27, 2009 in the Parking Lot of Woodrow Wilson Junior High School in Dayton. Guest speaker for the event is Coach Jerry Stewart of the Dayton Broncos. The event starts at 5:00 PM and runs until 8:00 PM and is open and free to the public. This is a community-wide event to kick off the 2009 Dayton Bronco Football Season. Bring your lawn chair and come enjoy the evening festivities. Commemorative T-Shirts of the event will be on sale. There will be concession items for sales, such as drinks, snow cones and cotton candy as well as a combination plate of BBQ Sandwich, chips and a drink. Contact the Dayton Chamber for event sponsorships. A portion of the funds raised will go to an athletic scholarship, awarded to a Dayton High School 2010 Senior by the Dayton Chamber of Commerce.
