Baseball Skills Camp

June 16th, 18th & 19th

9:00am – 12:00pm

Cost: $50.00 (if paid by 6/5/09)

Camp will cover: hitting, defense, and other baseball specific skills

Pitching Camp

June 15th and 17th

10:00am – 12:00 pm

Cost: $50.00(if paid by 6/5/09)

Camp will cover in-depth the mechanics needed to be a successful pitcher. Pitchers will focus on mechanics and pitch development.

Time for another year of polishing future bulldogs and other local players to be. Hopefully you can find some diamonds in the rough that will be good enough to jump on that varsity train and ride it as far as the upperclasmen can pull it next year. Seems to be a lot of summer ball being played by various ages to keep the legacy alive in Jasper. ( Thanks parents and coaches)

I just thought that I would give an update of how the camp went. We had a great turnout, with 42 going to the skills camp and 38 going to the pitching camp. We were extremely impressed with how advanced some of the campers were for their age. Southeast Texas baseball is definitely alive and well for the future. We had campers from Jasper, Woodville, Newton, Hemphill, Evadale, Atlanta Georgia, and a large group from Buna.  Thanks to the families who sent kids to camp, it was definitely our pleasure to have them there.
