What are Your thoughts on the Buna Cougars so far this year

I thought Buna looked good so far this year and was just wondering what everyone elses opinion was

I haven't had the chance to watch them yet this year. I will catch a game in a couple of weeks. I hear that the QB Justin Carrell is a pretty salty ball player. Hopefully Buna football is on somewhat of a rise after being a doormat for so long. Maybe this is the year I go watch a Buna game for the football and not just the drumline.

THEY LOOK PROMISING, I THINK THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO BE IN THE TOP THREE, EARNING THEM A WELL DESERVED PLAYOFF SPOT.

Buna's best hope is fourth or fifth place in District at best. Weak offensive line and their Defense is very suspect.

Buna has not done well against 2A competition recently. (I think they are 1-9 vs. EC in last 10 games.) I never make predictions, but my GUESS would be 4th or 5th. EC-Ana-DV-War-Buna. Don't get mad...strictly a guess. :wink:

Not trying to down the Cougars , but Deweyville handled them in a scrimmage earlier.Don't see them any higher than 5 or 6.Right now E/C,Anahuac and Deweyville have to be the favorites.Looks like Warren and Hardin are pretty even.Warren has some key injuries that may decide their playoff chances.

I am a new at this but from what i have seen those buna boys aren't half bad. I was at the O.F. game @ buna watching my step sister march and from what i saw they handled their business pretty well. they really didn't have the refs behind them though...Good luck cougars!

Buna is tired of being the underdog at everything...Things are starting to change 2-1 week 3 baby!
