The upcoming and super-stacked UFC 100 event has already sold out – before tickets even went on sale to the general public.

UFC Fight Club members and UFC.com newsletter subscribers gobbled up the approximately 12,000 available tickets during a pre-sale period, the organization today announced.

UFC 100, which features two title fights, takes place July 11 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and airs on pay per view.

"I started hearing about UFC 100 around UFC 90 (in October)," UFC President Dana White stated. "I am blown away by how excited fans were for this event, so I made sure to stack this card with the greatest fights and greatest fighters in the world, and keep ticket prices consistent with our other big events. Once again, our fans responded with a record sellout. This is another great milestone for the UFC, and July 11 is going to be an amazing event."

UFC 100 features a title-unification bout between UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and interim title-holder Frank Mir, a welterweight title fight between current champ Georges St. Pierre and top contender Thiago Alves, and a bout between "The Ultimate Fighter 9" coaches Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson.

Tickets, which range from $100 to $1,000, were scheduled to go on sale to the general public on Saturday.

As a reminder, MMAjunkie.com Radio (www.mmajunkie.com/radio) will broadcast daily from our radio booth in the Race & Sports Book at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino throughout UFC 100's week of events. Additionally, the UFC will hold its first-ever UFC Fan Expo in conjunction with UFC 100.
