TABC Final State Rankings

The only local teams to finish the year in the Top 20 were Woodville and Kountze.  Can anyone tell me whats wrong with this ranking.

I still have Dial up so maybe I cannot see the updates. But the last poll was 2/16/09. If what you said was correct then Woodville got screwed. There is noway that is correct. Must be a glitch somewhere.

Nope go look the final rankings are posted today.

Robinson who won state is ranked #1 in 3A

Diboll who didn't make the final 4 is ranked #2 in 3A

Woodville was ranked #18 in the last poll they make it to the STATE FINALS and move to #8.

No other teams in the area ended the season ranked.

I can't believe that either Orangefield or Hardin Jefferson were not in the top 20.  Both are deserving.  OF was in the top top before they got beat....they don't deserve to drop ALL the way out of the top 20.

I guess that's what happens when you lose by 20 in the 2nd round of the playoffs.  HF played Navasota closer than OF did.

honestly, both hj and orangefield we not deserving to be a "top 20" team.  Each got handled in the 2nd round by clearly better teams.

The work now begins for next year, as alot of region 3 teams were very young....

We always get screwed. I agree with the first two rankings, but we always get screwed. They put us by Kountze. They losing alot of players. No matter. State 09. We going back to win this time hopefully.

My way of looking at it is..... If you didn't hold up the trophy in Austin, your season was a dissapointment.

If you are proud, etc of not winning it all, then maybe you goals need to be set a little higher.

(Once you have won a few, anything but winning it again doesn't cut it)
