Due to fact that Evadale did not show up to play on Saturday WOS finished 1st, Deweyville 2nd and High Island 3rd.

The Lady Mustangs won the Deweyville Classic after a forfeit by Evadale in the finals. WOS opened the tournament losing to Evadale and then blew out Deweyville and High Island to set up a rematch against Evadale. Evadale did not return for the championship game so WOS was awarded the championship trophy. Demetrius Heard was named tournament MVP and Ryshaniqua Winbush was named to the all-tournament team. The Lady Mustangs (8-7) won't play again until January 6 at Buna.

I guess it is a big secret why Evadale did not show up to play in the CHAMPIONSHIP game at the Deweyville Tournament last Saturday. Someone must know why and just isn't telling. Sounds like very bad sportsmanship unless there is a good reason that we haven't been told yet.
