westend1
Sunday, I had a really nice hill country 10 point chase a doe under my tree. At 15 yards, I drew my bow and had the perfect shot on a 130 class deer(great for our lease). When I released, my bow sounded like it exploded. The buck trotted off unharmed. When I looked down, my string was hanging off my bow. A rope from my pocket was wrapped in the cam. Lesson: don't let loose stuff hang out of your pockets when bowhunting
tvc184
At least it didn't come back and slap you in the eye or something like that. What kind of bow?
westend1
About a 10 year old Mountaineer(from Bridge City) It has been a great bow. I've probably killed 50 deer, pigs and even a Nilgai with it. Stupid mistake. I probably see 2-3 deer a year as good as this one, and get a shot maybe once every 2-3 years.
