Thank you for posting this article, many cities and towns have Good Athletic programs and Fine Coaches; We here in Newton are Lucky Enough to have a Great Man and His Family as a real part of our community. Coach Barbay is here because this is where he chose to make his Home. I chose to make Newton My home about 10 years ago and it is because of the people, including Coach Barbay, that make Me Grateful that I did.

Indeed Newton is very lucky to have Coach Barbay and his family. And like any good "father" he will tell you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear! Sometimes this seems uncomfortable to people that don't know him. But this is Coach Barbay and you gotta love him. His football life speaks for itself and loudly.

This is a great article about a great man. I'm glad to have had the chance to have a son play for  him as a Newton Eagles.
