Do they have a shot at state? If I didn't know better, I would think that you(hustler) and yourself(sinner) might be a little jealous. Rebel Yeller Posted November 12, 2008 Report Share Posted November 12, 2008 One thing is for sure the Rebels are playoff bound! I can look at the bracket and see that Region 3 is stacked with plenty of great teams. Everyone knows that, but the Rebels have been making believers out of doubters since district started. If the old adage that "offense wins games, but defense wins championships!" Then I feel pretty good about the Rebels chances to advance. According to several people from HD we shut down the best RB in the state (Cook) and from those from WH we shut down the best QB in the state (Copeland). According to both schools we shut down two of the best teams in the state and they scored a combined 6 points. Just like with HD and WH we beat them and they don't get another shot, well theoretically WH could get another shot. It is one game on one night and anything can happen. At this stage of the season it is about who wants it. All the teams have proved that they are the better or best teams in their districts. It is time to begin the elimination process.
