Big Red Machine 9u and 10u baseball teams faced off against each other at the Beaumont Academy on April 6th in the championship game of April Fools Day Classic. The 9u team won 9-0. They are coached by Ronnie Shugart and Roderick Robertson. The team includes: Joseph Adams, Dylan Anthony, Klye Bergeron, Remington Boykin, Shannon Chance, Steven Landry, Tod McDowell, Brandon Morse, Payton Robertson, Ty Stevenson, Bradley Thibodaux, and Byron Trahan. The 10u team, coached by Jeff Lane and Rick Dearing, includes Lane Ashworth, Michael Barnett, Tyler Bouget, Joshua Chandler, Derick Dearing, Tyler Ford, Blake Lane, Mitchell Lee, Bradly Mcgill, Adam Morse and Griffin Patterson.

This was the second time the season two of our teams played each other for a championship. This game was actually 6-0 and a scoreless tie until the 5th. Great pitching and defense by both teams. They'll be going at it again this weekend at Ford Park as well as our other 5 teams.

These teams are made up of Bridge City, Orangefield, Vidor, Port Neches- Groves, Lumberton and WOS. This tells you that the talent in this area runs deep. Great group of kids and great set of coach's.
