How did the Dogs Look?

Word is they started out sluggish but the young guys got their confidence and the game ends.  1-1.....  so probably a good showing...  but dont know until the coach gives the word..

New Caney

Nederland didn't look as sharp as I thought they should have. New Caney scored on a deflection off a player. Nederland scored on a cross into the box. Ned led in shots 11-7, with 6 on goal for Ned.

New Caney is usually a pretty decent team, right?

Yea NC is usually decent. The game got kind of rough, but I blame the ref for that. A lot of fouls didn't get called. One ref for a high school game really bites though. One of the NC players told the fans after the game that our players were a bunch of pansies (not the real word he used) and we needed to take steriods. He said it more than once and not one person, not even their coach said a word to him.

I felt bad for the ref because he had no help.

By the way how did the JV team look and how did they do?

The JV won 8-1, didn't see much of the game.
