LCM 83 Posted October 11 Report Posted October 11 Newton Eagle Fans Anthony Byerly I went to Little Cypress Mauriceville and graduated in 1983. I followed the GREATEST High School running back during his years at Newton. In my opinion HE was the best I ever seen. I have totally forgot about his playing days at UT, he played 4 years, I see that he only had 2 touchdowns and maybe 200 yards rushing. Was Mr. Byerly injured prior to his college days? Still till this day, I believe he was the greatest HS running back of all time. He rushed for nearly 7000 yards as an Eagle, he rounded up his career in 1981. Quote
