Playoff traffic heats up for Stallworth

Holiday shoppers should expect heavy traffic Friday and Saturday and not just from other holiday shoppers.

A steady line of cars and buses are expected to hit town by mid-afternoon each day, coming from the east and the south

As a youngster, I was at that 1977 Plano / PNG game.  A fond memory from that trip was all of the purple and white decorated cars heading up I-45.  I will never forget one vehicle said "Down the Drano with Plano"!  Funny what you remember when you are 8 years old!

I remember driving back from Dallas in 1975 when PNG played Odessa Permian for the state championship and a trucker on a CB was asking other truckers "Hey man, what's a PNG"?
