Hardin vs.Crawford Predictions?

KFDM COOP

Recommended Posts

This is all I have found so far:

Well, since there is no thread yet, I'll start one. Hardin comes off a good win vs Hemphill which some consider a slight upset. Crawford comes off a nice one as well, shutting out the Cinderella Centerville Tigers. Crawford is all about power, but will trick you into having 8-9 in the box to stop them and will then hit you for a big strike down field (ask the Tigers). The only thing I know about Hardin is that they only had 2 losses to playoff teams (East Chambers and Buna). Both of those teams lost in the first round. It looks like a great game match up depending on what Hardin runs offensively. Hardin has scored 430 and given up 266 through 11 games (against 5 playoff teams), averaging 39 for and 24 against. Crawford has scored 350 and given up 137 through 11 games (against 7 playoff teams) , averaging 31 for and 12 against. Looks to be a close game. Has anyone actually seen Hardin this year to give an idea of what/how they play?

Looks like no one knows a lot about us either - this could get interesting.

I dont know much about Crawford either...But from what that says, looks like they will be tough to score on but im still gonna go with Hardin in this one.

This is hilarious!!!  This is my post from Texas2AFootball.com.  It is interesting to see the SETX posts with info on Hardin.  Looks like they like to throw it around.  Looks like a good match up of pass vs run.  Crawford is not that big when it comes to size.  I don't think we have any player over 260.  Our RBs and pretty talented.  They are shifty and deceptively quick.  We only played one pass happy team this year and that was McGregor.  We won that one 35-6 thanks to defense.  We play pretty sound scheme and send quite a few after the QB, but more dependent on technique.  Crawford will not try to trick you.  Nothing fancy at all, just power football.  Full house T formation, toss off tackle, 3 linemen from one side, plus 3 RBs, plus 2 pulling linemen on every play.  That's 8 vs 5.5 for a balanced defense, don't over shift to the strong or it's coming back the other way.  Should be a good game to watch, would like to go myself, but not sure yet, as it is a 235 mile drive.

Good luck to the Hornets. Don't let these few days off get you relaxed. Stay focused and ready to play. You have to go into every game playing to win not trying to keep from losing. Keep that winning attitude. Don't let any one tell you that you don't deserve to be here.

Seniors come out fighting and keep fighting. This is your last year don't let it stop Friday. Keep on making history.

Jordan you are a leader, keep leading them to another victory.

I am seeing weather with a high in the mid 50s and rain in the forecast for Friday.  Will this affect the outcome of the game?  The ball could be hitting the turf quite a bit in this one.  Just heard that Crawford will have no time off for Thanksgiving week, no days off that is.  Regular practice Mon-Thurs, pushing the truck will continue.

They may want to start pushing right after lunch on Thursday. It a long way to Crosby. LOL.

Good luck to you guys from Crawford. Is President Bush going to be there.

Hopefully the rain will hold off. Cooler weather would be nice.

No I am sure he will not attend.  It was funny though, we were at Fairfield last week playing Centerville in the Bi-District round and in the 3rd quarter it was 28-0 Crawford.  A lot of the Centerville fans had already left and the announcer chimed in,...."Could George W. Bush please come to the press box!?"  It brought a pretty good chuckle.

    • First pitch about to be in the books.
    • Chester will be the home team tonight.  Neches Tigers will be the visitors.
    • The locals have almost finished firing the first ever Speaker of the House from Southeast Texas upon direct order of Trump and his minions.   It's a sad day... Locals have decided that being represented by the most powerful man in the House didn't mean anything.... they'd rather a political novice to represent this part of SETX.  And why is that?  He wasn't MAGA enough for them.  Who cares that it will hurt locally... What Trump says, goes.     Just yesterday I saw Trump on television demanding that we fire Phelan... How he's a RINO, weak on the border, etc... why?  Because he wouldn't overlook the criminal actions done by Ken Paxton, one of Trump's key supporters in the effort to overturn the 2020 Election and allow Trump to remain in office despite the will of the voters.   Trump never even mentioned Covey's name, and I doubt he would recognize Covey if Covey walked up with a cup of coffee.  Who cares that it's bad for SETX?  Not the R voters from SETX!   Then I saw Covey's preacher on a different ad tell a bald face lie.  Why should Phelan be fired?  "He put Democrats in positions of power in the House."  Really?  That's been the position of BOTH parties for as long as anybody can remember.  They ALWAYS give the minority party committee chairmanships.  But in 2022 the Rs decided that the practice should stop.  Democrat voters should not be allowed a voice in the crafting of legislation if there is a single majority Republican seat in the House, according to the Rs.  Representative Government?  Never heard of it, huh? Never did I believe that we'd have an abortion ban, constitutional carry, huge cuts for school property taxes, and Texas law enforcement being greenlit to enforce immigration law.  But it all happened while Phelan was speaker.  Without a doubt, the most conservative Speaker, ever.  But still a dirty RINO for not being MAGA enough.  It would be funny if it weren't true.   I've been following politics long enough to remember when Rs couldn't get elected in Texas... I'm confident that we're headed back that direction.  I mean, it's obvious that with population shifts we'll be turning blue eventually.  I think that the behavior of the leadership of the Republican Party is going to cause that shift sooner than expected.  I won't be surprised to see Democrat Senators and possibly even a governor elected within 12 years.  Maybe less.  The Rs will be a party apparatus without a voting base behind them.
