i cant think of a time in the post season when anyone stole a base on casey, he hosed about 4-5 guys...and to me that sticks out more than what happened at lamar, the bad..its obvious it got in his head against jasper, besides that he only had one big mistake and that was a dropped ball on a play at the plate against needville, but no one remembers that because we won the series right?

i think hes the best hitter in the area for the upcoming season, but i agree he needs work defensively to be considered the best catcher, personally i think he would be a better fit at 1st base for bc not a dh, it doesnt require a lot of throwing and hes used to taking funny hops, lets face it you need that kind of sr leadership on the field at all times, not just dh'ing.  but what do i know ???

My son played with Casey Jackson all summer...great hitter and a good kid.

Played with Steinhagen this past weekend..Steinhagen is a beast !

I have to go with Steinhagen.
