besbolbenbedygud Posted August 17, 2007 Report Share Posted August 17, 2007 All eye's localy, and from Boston, will be on Clay Buchholz as the 23 year old, from Lumberton, gets his first Major League start vs the Los Angeles Angels. Good Luck today Clay!!!! Chip Ambres went 2 for 4, scored a run and had an rbi. Chip is now batting .308 in his last 10 gamesLew Ford, went 2 for 4 and had a stolen base.......that's 8 straight games with a hit. Yesterday was only his 2nd game without a double, in those 8 games. Lew is now batting .394......will a move back up be made?? Collin Delome hadn't played a game for the A Tri-City VallyCats since August 11th........1 reason, it was the Short Season All-Star break (8-14)......2nd reason, Collin was on that All-Star roster!!! Big Congrats for Collin!!! Well, how does Collin feel after returning to the VallyCats yesterday.......well enough to go 3 for 5, score 2 runs, drive in 2 runs, and hit his 4th HR. Collins 45 game average is at .300 and in the month of August Collin is batting .357......Cody Strait went 2 for 4 for the third time in three games. He also stole two bases. Cody is now batting .357 in the month of AugustBrandon Richey went 1 for 2 scored a run and drove one in. Brandon has reached a base safely now in 4 of his last 5 games........Tyler Reves had a single in 3 AB's and has now hit safely in 7 of his last 9 games..........
