Who was the CF last year that ran into the fence breaking his nose or something like that?  Wasn't it Freel or somebody else?

Cincinnati center fielder Ryan Freel went down hard after making a spectacular catch against Pittsburgh Monday. An ambulance took him to the hospital. The CT scan came back fine. He does have bruises to the head and neck. And the real debate now -- did he catch the ball? Does the video show his teammate placing the ball in Freel's glove before the umpire arrived?

OUCH!!!! hopefully he can recover quickly!! but the guy that ran into the centerfield wall last year was Aaron Rowand for the Phillies.

I say Freel caught the ball. I saw it go into his glove, and never saw it hit the ground. How was it ruled?

It was Aaron Rowand - did anyone else see the CF from the AZ girls softball team hit the wall the other day.  She was at a dead run and her face smacked the wall really hard.  She was down on the ground for a while!
