Owls look to knock the rust off from final and avenge their early season loss to the Bobcats tonight at Reckling.  Here's to finishing the season strong and wrapping up a National Seed.

Owls knock the rust off from a 9 day layoff and extend their winning streak to 11 win a workman like win against Texas St.  After falling behing 2-0 in the bottom of the 3rd Rice rallied for 5-runs off BJ Boening (0-3)(he was born in BMT btw).  Matt Langwell worked 5 innings of 2 hit relieve, allowing 1run for the win (5-1).  H-F native Phillip Lynch pitched the 9th for the Bobcats.  After allowing a leadoff walk he followed it with a SO, and a 6-4-3 DP ball end the inning.  Both teams return to conference play this weekend, Texas State (32-18) hosts McNeese while Rice (37-11) will entertain Tulane.
