warfan Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 The scoring at a district track meet is incorrectly tallied. A school is given the first place points for a event they did not finish in. The trophies are given out. After returning home the coach for #2 team has the proper ribbons and realizes that there has been an error. The District chair is notified and yes there has been an error and #2 should be #1.
ncplaya Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 You need to see that your runnerup trophy gets traded for that District Champion Trophy. Our district had alot of total point mistakes as well, but i dont think any effected to total places
