Word is that Gilligan plans on using 5 or 6 pitchers tonight.  Sounds like the plan is not necessarily to win, but get some kids some quality innings out of conference.

Usually when Gilligan plays a big name school, he goes with his best pitcher with a chance to win, then has a short hook if they get in trouble.  UH is down this year, but LU has to win this one and needs to upset Rice to have a legit shot at an at-large bid this year.  I'm betting he pulls out all the stops tonight, but I don't think it will be enough.  Coogs 8-6.
