East Chambers vs Buffalo

[About a week ago]

East Chambers coming off blow out win over East Bernard. Buffalo coming off upset of #1 district seed and #13 in TABC rankings Central Heights. Don't know anything about Buffalo, does anyone know anything?

Looking around MaxPreps, they split with Crockett, and have two narrow losses to New Waverly, and beat Palestine Westwood 2X. They were 8-6 in district and 22-9 overall.

EC should win this one.. As utfan06 said it's looking like it's going to be a Kountze/East Chambers Reg. Final. That's if both take care of business as they should.

On our side Trinity and Waskom worry me, and on Kountze's side Malakoff and Hempstead, but I just think Malakoff.

Crockett worries me me than Hempstead and Malakoff. We killed Hempstead in the playoffs last year. They can't handle the press. Crockett has the athletes and depth to run with Kountze. I think EC will be fine until they face Waskom. They're a pretty good basketball team. Just my opinion. 

I went back and looked at the bracket... Teague should beat Malakoff on Friday. They're a good team also. Made it to the Regional Tournament before losing to Crockett last year.

that's interesting kountze coach and crockett coach were debating either livingston or conroe... 

this should mean kountze and crockett will play at conroe but we will see

Makes sense.. I'm assuming they couldn't do Thursday? Buffalo's girl are in the Regional Tournament this Friday/Saturday in Waco.

I've watched Buffalo play, they play at a very high pace and will let it fly...I don't see the diamond press of EC giving them that much trouble as some of the others have had....It actually plays into their favor of picking the pace of the game up...You have a great young coach (I'm partial as he did play for me) vs one of the best coaches in SETX History...Should make for an exciting match-up....

EC can shut down the 3 ball. The faster pace will play into EC's favor, Buffalo probably has not seen a press like EC's. I think EC will be fine.

Malakoff has guards that can handle the press is the reason I said that. Teague and them will be a very good matchup.
