Playoff Games

I don't know who mosshill is but you can tell hes not from big sandy. You go to some big sandy games this season and all of a sudden your an expert on big sandy basketball. 1 SETX has always covered big sandy. 2 AAW has said he loves the way big sandy plays multiple times, and more than just this season. At big sandy we don't need a whole lot of coverage. We are humble people. We let our actions speak for themselves whether they be playing basketball or anything else. We like to keep it quiet and show them how we play when they get to the court, or come and see us. And we don't need anyone else defending us because they think they know all about big sandy when they don't. Sorry if its a little off topic. Just some things that irk me.

yeah i'm not from big sandy. I just sit next to gabe at most the games i attend..... i never said AAW didn't like Big Sandy or wasn't there to support them along this way. I've reached out to every collegiate scout i know and requested others on this site to do so to get players from BS recognition where they are not getting it and they are deserving. your post is a little absurd and quite erroneous. I didn't say u needed more coverage, or that u were not humble.

I've been watching BS for many years pal.

Oh ok. I don't see anybody broadcasting their games or attending them aside from a game or two at the Marathon so I wasn't for sure.

you were talking about being covered on this site now and broadcasting games. Coverage. Oh you sat by Gabe. Well why didn't you say so. we'll look into making you an honorary wildcat then.

Who said anything about district games? I made the statement when they went into district that they would not play in a game from here on out, within 20 points. It had nothing to do with their district opponents.

Other than BS Wildcats, I am the only person on the site that has been to 15 plus Big Sandy games this year. Thanks.

AAW, I have seen at 3 games for sure. Not sure where he was hiding for those "several" games that he seen, but I only ran into him at the Marathon on two games and 1 other regular season game, I believe. No district games.

yeah, I failed to remember that they were covered on this site, because I don't see anybody from this site at the games, most of the time aside from Mike.

Not that I care, I just forgot that BS is covered on the site. It's all good. I knew I had seen AAW at BS games this year.

He is always at the marathon and I didn't attend the BS tourney and he did.....so he shows his loyalty to ol'e BS

Gabe is a great guy and we love to chat basketball, so it's all good. I hope to be able to make some playoff games, we'll see.

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
