SETX Soap Box Derby

It's Derby Time!!!! The Annual Soap Box Derby Starts Tomorrow May 16th. Last weigh-ins & car inspection ended tonight @7pm. The Race takes place on the Maury Myers Bridge(crosses I-10)
The roads to & from 11th Street to the Bridge will be closed for the Race. This is my Second year Volunteering/Mentoring 2 kids for the Race. We chose this event as an alternative to our usual sports. We have met some Amazing people & have made new Friends. If you're not busy, please come by and see how excited the kids are to participate.

Our Derby is over, thanks to All Sponsors/Volunteers. My Son finished in 4th place. Not too bad for his 2nd year racing. Special Thanks to Derby Organizers & to our Car Sponsor Hobs Garage & provider of the Cars Salvation Army of Beaumont.
