Sectioin 105 is entitled Increasing effectiveness of anti-trafficking programs

Section 106- Minimum Standards for the ELIMINATION of trafficking

Bush, the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000 contains provisions which protect children. Those provisions apply to the tens of thousands of children who arrived in the United States from Central America in 2014 as illegal immigrants. They require opportunity for a hearing and consultation with an advocate. They recommend access to counsel. They direct the Department of Health and Human Services to place the children “in the least restrictive setting that is in the best interest of the child” and to explore reuniting the children with family members.[3]

No one else is President at this time.  The "ILLEGALS" are flooding across on his watch.  "IF" someone else was President at this time then we'd be asking that person the same question!

These kids are from central america, because of the aforementioned law there is a process that has to be followed before they can be deported. If they were from Mexico, it would be different from I've read.

Steve, do yo know why tens of thousands of minors are walking for weeks mostly unaccompanied from adult supervision to come into this country. Would anyone send there minor kid unaccompanied like this anywhere?  Isn't this just mind boggling and does it make any sense?

I read that once they reach the border, they cant be turned back. I would say parents who were desperate to get their kids out of horrific conditions. I feel bad for these kids.
