Obama's Broken Border

Despite the fact that the unrest was caused by pro-illegal groups, the federal riot police now arriving in the town have been sent ostensibly to deal with anti-immigration demonstrators.

La Raza, which literally translates as “the race,” has been connected to the Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), an extremist Mexican race hate group which firmly believes in exploiting illegal immigration to bring about ‘La Reconquista’, a violent overthrow of the southern U.S. states that would be absorbed into Greater Mexico.

Looks like things are going as planned by the Obama administration.

You guys are so locked into race and fear anything that is different than you.

Pot calling the kettle

The term “the pot calling the kettle black” is usually used in the sense of accusing someone of hypocrisy. The origins of the phrase date back to at least the 1600s, when several writers published books or plays which included wordplays on this theme. Despite suggestions that the phrase is racist or nonsensical, the meaning is actually quite obvious when one considers the conditions of a medieval kitchen.

Big girlToday, 09:33 PM

I have a question. You guys say you want limited federal government intervention. You want power given to the states, if that is the case, it is not Obama's border, it is Perry's. Let the Texas government handle it. What do you guys think?

If my memory is correct, Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona tried that and was over ruled by the Fed.   And, yes we cant depend on the government for everything.  It is important that you grasp that concept because the government is a lousy, incompetent manager in the vast majority of things it is involved in.  Are you happy that the U.S. Postal service defaulted on its debt?  WHy is that?  It didn't happen to UPS and it didn't happen to FedEx.  What's the difference?

one of the main jobs of the federal govt. is to protect the nations borders and your boy Barrack isn't doing his job! Worst pres. ever period! If Yobama was white with these #s on black unemployment and the border invasion big girl would be screamin at the top of her lungs!

The black unemployment rate is always higher then whites. It doesn't matter who the President is. Illegal immigration started in 1492. :)

yes, yes, and yes!

Does that make it ok? Weren't these folks promised "Change we can believe in" bottom line is perspective is reality, and these peoples perspective was that things would change (because they were promised they would) Now that "his own people" are seeing what most of us already knew "empty suit" "community organizer", etc...they are turning on him and realizing HE IS THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER....they are turning into high (or at least higher) information voters....lmao, and realizing that voting straight color didn't help them at all.

Really, who told you that. I think 6 black people voted for Romney in 2012. Lol...That is not changing. You guys are just going to have to suck it up. President Obama is here to stay:)

I just wonder how bad it'll have to get for you to change your tune?!  Check out my "Ouch" post.  They have already learned what we already knew about obama.  You are next!     :)

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
