The Huffman Lady Falcons are headed to STATE ! The Falcons defeated West Columbia 12-0 last night behind Bardwells 2 HR's. One being a GS again! Unro pitched another gem and now there is the FINAL FOUR!! This the first team spot from Huffman to go to State, BEST OF LUCK LADIES!!!

Is this the same group of girls that won state in Little league when they were 10u? Then I think they created a select team they named Huffman Dynamite? If so Huffman should have a good program for several years to come. Congrats to them for making it to state.

Huffman, Snyder, LaGrange, and Van will be the 3A teams at State, the bracket will come out tomorrow. good Luck Lady Falcons, Bring home the TITLE!!!

"OneChance" this is were it gets fun for the Falcons, the majority of the girls are from the OG(not to be confused with the O'OG, aka. Mena's group who started way back in the day) of girls who won state and then went on to as the select team known as the 'Heartbreakers'. By my count there are 5 girls, 3 starters from this team. 2 on the injured reserve. one of which still comes on as a runner wearing a sock puppet.

 

There are the 'NewG' group, who followed with the a similar blueprint, also who won state and went on to become the Dynamite. There are 1-2 girls starting (depending on who is pitching) from this group. They have come on and battled hard for spots as freshman and sophomores.

 

Along the way we have added an additional group of girls who have taken spots and continue to work hard to keep them.

 

The Falcons have a strong support staff in parents as well as upcoming talent to build something special here. Time will tell.

You are right about some of the girls but the junior class is the core out of the juniors you have two division 1 commits and a few division 3 commits they all play select on power house teams Huffman has a very good shot at the title!!!! See y'all in AUSTIN!!!!!!!

The 3 umpires for this game were from the Jefferson County TASO chapter. Fred Rodgers, Chuck Theriot and Dan Harris were selected to do this game. The SS for Huffman is a beast. They played a great all around game also. Speed, short game, long ball, great defense ,and good pitching all made for an exciting win. Good luck ladies.

The core is not the junior class. There are 3 juniors that start during this championship run. You have 2 seniors, 3 sophomores and 1 freshman. 3 juniors have been hurt. One of them did pitch in lufkin game and was amazing. So we hope she's healthy again. So this teams core is a balance of all classes.

Iam glad you know your Huffman team. But the juniors are the core one of the juniors is not hurt as you replied she just pitched week before last not hurt to me

I do know my Huffman team. And they have 2 special seniors that are going to state with a great team.
