Jasper beat us twice and we beat them twice. We are two even teams. This going to literally be a war. They want it and we want it. It will actually come down to which way the ball bounces. My stomach hurts.

Jason Henry..who coached with the Lumberton AD at Kelly. He got "one of his boys" and screws Richards at the same time. Note: Jason Henry is a good coach. No slight there. I can't wait to follow Lumberton football to state.

These AD's are ruining careers so they can try to "better" thier football team. Mark my word, both Deweyville and Lumberton will hire "basketball coaches" who are experienced football coaches. They are screwing the coaches, the BB program, and the kids in the BB program. If the parents don't stand up and fight, then they deserve an offensive line coach as thier son's BB coach. The comminuty has to say no more, and stand up for thier coach. More importantly, thier kids.

Travel and follow thier teams. The players somehow know who attends games. I know here at WOS, if a teacher comes to a game, and many, many do, the players know it. Our fans have been FANtastic and I know many other schools say the same thing. Who has the greatest fans? I vote WOS.

Congrats to Coach Harley. It looks like those guys are finally listening to him. That is a talented group of boys. They only have themselves to blame for thier lack of performance in the past. Looks like that is history now. The Bears are playing great ball. That is also a credit to the kids.

I was notified this morning that we have no officials for the JV game. What is up with this chapter?

Never underestimate the heart of a champion. I think that was Rudy T. or Phil Jackson that said that. All year we have talked about the word "finish" . Last year we played HJ, Silsbee, Jasper, etc. close for a half, but would get blown out in the second half. We finished last night. We gave up a 20 point lead (to 4 points) but finished strong and didn't give the game away. HJ is a great program with a great coaching staff. To be successful against those guys, you better bring your A game. And we did. Our guys rebounded, shot well, hit our free throws and played defense. Sometimes coaching is fun. We are on a 4 game win streak. Our record win streak is 10 games. Back in 2000, Lincoln beat us by 53 points. After that game, we went thru the district schedule and won the next 10 games including beating Lincoln. Our streak was ended by the 36 - 0 eventual State Champions - Ozen. Can we beat the streak? We are going to try. Great job to our fans and players.

Texas Tech - Bob Knight's camp would be the best.

A big thanks to all the WOS fans at the boys Orangefield game. Our crowd overcame thier crowd and pumped our kids to victory. We have had great support all year and we APPRECIATE it. Thanks.
