  1. They (Terry) didn't have any answers to Bay City either! LMAO
  2. You're right every ones entitled to a bad game. I don't think Everman had one. They just ran into an offense they couldn't contain. I was at the game and Everman looked very strong during the 1st quarter, a little less in the second and by the third they new it was over. But I guess you think they just happened to have their "bad game" in the semi's just like the year before right? And no, you couldn't of beaten Everman or Heath for that matter. Well McAdoo (Evermans QB) was hurt in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. So they werent at 100% of their offense. Take away the qb run threat, then it sure makes it easier to defend against. McAdoo was a decent passing QB as well....I'm 100% on his stats, but he threw around 1400 yards, 19 TD's with only 4 or 5 interceptions.... Should of utilized that big WR then. He was impressive the few times I seen him with the ball.
  3. The Everman QB didn't play on defense, the one that gave up fewer points than you per avg. To be honest I don't know if you have played anybody that was hurt during the playoffs. Maybe thats because you ain't played nobody.

All I heard all week was how great their stable of back were? Have you guys gone back and looked at the teams that were in your district and pre district schedule? You brag about having a defense that allows 20 points or less per game. Do you realize out of the 9 games during the season you played 5 teams that won 3 games or less the whole year. Yeah keep talking about Pine Tree. They would of been foaming at the mouth had they drew your weak schedule.

  6. You have got to be kidding... You let Pine Tree score 27 on your defense. And you only expect us to score 28???? Dayton is allowing averaging allowing less than 20 pts to be scored on them a game. But you expect to almost triple that some how? Last year LT scored the most points on us. I think Lake Travis is the only team to score more than 40 points against us in the past few years. And believe me, you guys are no Lake Travis. I will take Dayton by 10 pts. Evermans defensive avg. was a lot lower than that. Look what happened.
  7. I just think that you guys keep talking about defense and I think that the game will be a good one - I know I have posted some ridiculous scores and stuff but I am confident that our receivers will have to work for the TD. IO am just saying that you guys have some speed but it seems (by the posts on here) that people are relying on a couple of key players instead of the whole team. That is what I am getting at. Heck....Sulphur Springs relies on one player and one player only!!! TR is that good and without him SS wouldn't be playing this week Before anyone from SS gets all riled up, please know that I'm not dogging any of the SS athletes.....I just don't think SS gets past the 2nd Round without TR No doubt. I don't think we would of gotten here without him or young.
  8. This team has had more exposure this year than I ever thought they would. I played jr high ball in SETX and can remember playing La Marque, Bay city, Texas City, La porte and some others but I had never heard of Dayton till last year. Maybe the same could be said of us also.
  9. Isnt your smoke break over yet? Get back in there and cook me a whopper. Your reaching now. I can sense the doubt building up. you SS folks are piling something up allright but it ain't doubt on our side if you are implying that we are feeding you info to give you the inside on how to beat us - know this - we are not the coaches and they do their job well - and if you are the guy who calls the plays - shouldn't you be doing something else besides underhanded research on how to be the best team you have faced all year? umm you are the best team we have faced all year just like we are the best team that you have faced all year..thats why they call it the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME..... DUH 8) You are not the best team we have faced all year. IMO there are at least 4 others better than you. 2 of them went to DI so we will never know how far they would of gone in DII. The other 2 have already been beaten by the best team left. Sometimes the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best teams in the playoffs come from the same region.
  10. Is that Everman with or without there starting QB ? ;D he was out for one quarter and the second string was faster and ran harder anyway...where were you going with this? so why is he second string? Because he played first string free safety (that is a defensive posistion) That's not the reason he wasn't the starting QB!!! Come on man....There isn't a coach alive that would pull a stunt like that I dunno, I have read that before the spread offenses became so popular QB's like Green and Rollison would of ended up in the slot or other positions where their athletic ability was seen more usefull. When did you first start hearing about Duel threat QB's?
