I was wondering why they never put Earl at qb for at least one series.He needed the ball in his hands more.He is so determined he would have opened the offence up.

I did not see Vidor play this year but I have never been impressed with a team because there lines were massive.I think kids in 210-240lb. range with good upper body strength and quickness will win out.The last few years I think that has been case for West Brook also.Knowing some of those kids they are just not football players.

Just curious but could someone post enrolement numbers for 21-3A. What if Silsbee loses to Kirbyville (evenly matched game) and also loses to Jasper (anything can happen in a rivalry game). Throw in a upset win with BC over WOS. BC seems to play at a upper level against WOS.Remember last years close game and 04 overtime game.This would put playoff teams WOS,BC and Kirbyville.

I thought the differance in the two teams were coaching preperation and tradition. School tradition at WOS is for football. It is coached and thought about 365 days a year.At Silsbee basketball takes away from football at times.Silsbee has alot of talent but for some reason alot of kids are not quite reaching that next level.They surely have fan support and it looks like they are about to turn the corner.

WOS They are as effective passing the ball as running it.

Was at the WOS and Kirbyville game.Did not see much from Kirbyville.Games are won by defence if defense is that bad I dont see alot of wins.As far as their speed they had one back who had some speed but every team has one back with some speed.On defence they were fast but it must of been for a short distance because they were always chasing Garret,Thomas,Franks,Bevel and backups.Orangefield wins this one.
