Atascocita Hands BH First Loss of Season After taking the first 2 games of the match, Barbers Hill failed to take another as BH lost to Atascocita by the scores of 29-27, 25-13, 24-26, 23-25 and 14-16. The Eagles are know 11-1 on the year. Barbers Hill will return to actions at the Santa Fe tournament on Thursday.

Can't wait till reallignment to see how it all pans out.

Hey I read that BH will be playing in the Santa Fe and Dickinson Tournaments later this season! Will Friendswood be playing? If not Santa Fe will get its chance to wipe the floor with BH ;D

BH ;D I haven't lost faith in the Eagles as some have! Last year two crummy scrimmages equalled a 10-0 season! This team doesn't have all of the big names we have been used to, but will still compete. Wharton has returned i think 12-14 from last years team while BH has returned 5. last years score was 23-6 in favor of BH this year its going to be tighter and should be a very good game as I hear that Wharton is primed to make some noise. Wharton is in a tough district with Sweeny and Needville who are both supposed to go pretty far this year in the 3A playoffs. I think BH opens in the win column ;D BH 21 Wharton 17

I didn't go ,but from the fans on this board it was reported as a 5-2 win for lumbertion in a controlled scrimmage. with the first team winning 3-0 and the second teams scoring 2 a piece. They also reported that it was a complete massacre and BH was slapped like a little school girl ;D This was after the WOS report of dragging BH up and down the field and skipping into the inzone at will while laughing at the poor BH players as they cryed and kicked the field ;D New Caney is in deep poop ;D

Oh I agree! Dont get me wrong BH is down this year it just the chest thumping that goes on around this board when a scrimmage is won is comical ;D People treat it as excusses ,but I'm telling you if you even get beat by a BH team in a scrimmage your team is Horrible! BH doesn't come to scrimmages to play ball, the coaches rotate tons of players in and out trying to figure what positions they will play. BH has hugh turnouts for football, so these are just practies. I look for next week to tell the tale about this years team, because at this point just like last year it is imposible to make a prediction. Last year at this time not only was most of this board predicting a 3 win season by the Eagles, some of the Eagle fans were to. Watching the Eagles for the past 20 years makes me the wiser as I have watched this time and time again. Time to tighten up next week is the real deal!!!
