After all this team and coaches have been through the last few weeks, I can say I've never been more proud of a team than the one I saw last night.

I love the new gym!!

This game was cancelled on Tuesday, but has been rescheduled for Thursday in OF in the new gym.

This game has been cancelled today. Have not heard of when a makeup will be played.

The Orangefield Lady Bobcats open the new gym this Tuesday with a big district contest against Jasper. Should be a good game.

There are some great teams in this area thats for sure.

We are very proud of the new gym. It will see its first action on Tuesday the 12th when the volleyball team plays Jasper. I will miss the old gym, but it was time for a change. Should be packed again this year once basketball starts. We're all pumped about what we think the girls team can accomplish this season. Should be fun.

When Kubiak was the QB at St. Pius they came to play in Orangefield. Don't remember the score, but OF beat them.

It's all in fun card, but why not. OF and Kirbyville have just as good a chance as anyone else in this district.

I was pleased, but we still have a lot to improve on. We looked really good at times and not so good at other times. I think this could have been first game jitters. I do feel we should improve each week. We'll be ready when district starts. Here's my new district predictions :shock: 1. WO-S 2. Kirbyville 3. Orangefield WO-S is going division 1 afterall

Orangefield had some bright spots. Corey Shepherd had a big game with a kickoff return for a TD and some big receptions. QB Ramsey look very good at times throwing the ball and also had a big run that set up OF's first score. Overall OF looked good at times and not so good at other times, but that can be expected for the first game. Good first win for the Bobcats. Buna is much improved this season. They may shake things up in that 2A district.

Thanks Kicker. Our problem is depth. If any of our key players go down, then it could be a long season for us. Right now though we are looking good. We could be a spoiler. Don't overlook us, although I'm hoping some teams do.

You sure about that Buna score. I heard they won 8-0 (1 td and a 2 point conversion) not 8 TD's.

He's doing a good job. We should be ok this year, but I'm really excited about our freshman group. I was very impressed with them today. Got some size and speed in that group. When they are Jr's and Sr's we should be very competitive.

We could if we stay healthy. We had a couple of guys out today with some nagging injuries. We should be ok.

Both first team offenses scored once and each second team scored once also. The second time Huffman's first team O had the ball, they drove the field and OF held them on 4 plays from inside the 10. OF's first team was driving the field and got inside Huffmans 20, but ran out of plays. Huffman finished with 8 first downs to OF's 10. There was about a 20 minute rain delay and when both teams came back out, there were some turnovers due to the wet field. Overall both teams looked good at times, but also did not look good at time too. Both have some work to do, but that is expected this early in the season. Congrats to Mr. Dishon. I think he needs to quit football and just concentrate on baseball now.

For Todd Dodge to come here, Lamar would for sure have to update its facilities. Southlake Carroll has better facilities than Lamar does right now. SLC has an indoor practice field that the Cowboys use to use on bad weather days. The Cowboys have since built there own.
