skipper, you and I both know that if Coach Owens is not able to continue coaching WOS next year, that will be a tragidy for the Mustangs and the entire City of Orange.  I hope you will all pray with me, for Coach Owens to recover and be there on the top row of Hooks Stadium  shouting the plays to the OC.

[/quote]            "skipper" started this thread.  i know skipper and skipper knows football.  i would not question anything that skipper posts on this wed sight.  skipper has connections that none of the rest of us have even heard of.  skipper has a unequivocal knowledge of the sport of football that the rest of us will never comprehend. i would never try to question "ANYTHING" that skipper has to say.

skipper, i am going to try to keep you in the #1 position as long as i can.  tell us how good LCM is going to be in 2010.

the Coldspring Trojan OL was as big as the Dallas Cowboys OL.  The backs were the fastest that i have ever seen.  the QB was better than "ANY"  QB in our district.  i think the Coldspring Trojans will win state "THIS YEAR".  I hope WOS can play the Trojans next year.  "SINCERELY"

the visitors side of the Orangefield stadium is very small.  i was forced to set near the WOS band.  what a "TREAT" that turned out to be.  the band never stopped playing.  they were fantastic.  all of the old people around me were dancing in the isles, or at least tapping their toes.  And i would like to tell Coach Hooks that i loved the "ALL WHITE" uniforms.  the team really looked sharp.

all of the votes are in and the 'WINNER"  of  "THE COACH OF THE YEAR"  is  COACH OWENS of  WOS.

my vote for "COACH OF THE YEAR"  goes to Coach Owens.   (WOS)  you will always find Coach Owens on the top row of the bleachers,  he refuses to use the normal electrical equipment that the other coaches use to communicate with.  he prefers to just shout his instruction to the players, from the top row of the bleachers.  Coach Hooks will tell you that he gives all the credit for his success, to the advice and play calling to Coach Owens. thank you Coach Owens for "ALWAYS BEING THERE".

WOS looked like they are ready for the playoffs.  Reggie Garrett was fantastic. (5 TD)  WOS is now a running team.  I think Stephen Cook will be the man on offence for WOS, in the playoffs.  Orangefields QB, #7, looked like  "HARRY HOUDINI".  he has amazing ball handling skills.
