  1. But at whose expense? Could the team incurr penalties for the fan's use of an air horn, or train horn? I agree the horn needs to be there, but at what price? What about setting it up just outside the stadium?
  2. Oh, you guys are crackin' me up!! 'Coach Mike' told me yesterday that he spoke to one of the school maintenance guys at Stallworth, and that he said to tell everyone planning to tailgate to be sure and set up OUTSIDE the yellow poles (I believe he said along the main road to the stadium), that is where they tell everyone to set up.
  3. I would just think he would be busy working on his A game instead of playin' on the computer and posting smack on the Raiders' MySpace pages. I could be wrong. We don't mind him being overly cocky. Personally, I think that MySpace and all of these message boards are the last place any of the players need to be looking right now.
  4. Gooooood idea! I already had some, and even gave a few away last week. I just called and had a friend pick me up some extras...just in case. ;D
  5. OK, so this #45, Jerid Griffin...he likes to run his mouth, huh?
  6. Ah hah!! ... Now we know where to send the bill!!! ;D Seriously folks, we've waited a lonnnnng time for this. Us parents are proud of our kids and we want the whole world to know it. Someone mentioned that it will just get bigger each week, and that is correct! The SKY is the limit!
  7. You BETCHA!! We got your back!!! What about shakers?? They gonna spoil ALL our fun??
  8. ATTENTION RAIDER NATION: Last week was great so let’s keep up the steam.......... We would like to send the Raiders off to La Marque with an L-TRAIN Lane. The bus is scheduled to leave the field house at 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. It would be great if we can paint our cars and trucks, faces or whatever else you want and lets form a human L-TRAIN Lane using our vehicles and bodies side by side to form a lane all the way from the field house to the intersection of Hwy 69 to show support for the players as they depart. You can stand beside your vehicles, make as much noise as you can and then join in the convoy to Stallworth Stadium in Baytown. Upon reaching the stadium, we propose that you all circle or park close enough to the bus to make some more noise as the MIGHTY RAIDERS depart the bus for the field house, then you can park regularly and enjoy the tailgate party that is tentatively planned to start around 3 p.m. (Tailgater organizers are leaving town early). In addition, thanks to the Lumberton Fire/EMS Department, we are hoping to escort the players back to Raider Stadium student parking lot with red lights and sirens to let the community know we are coming home. Last Friday around Mid-night, we did the same and it was awesome. Let’s keep the L-TRAIN running FULL STEAM AHEAD all the way to STATE!!! Mike Minton, Secretary, Lumberton Raider Athletic Booster Club, (LRABC) 755-6429 Andi Smith, Treasurer, LRABC 656-2990 All responses welcome.........
  9. Question: Who is LaMarque's #45, and what does he play?
  10. If it were me, I'd make it really hurt; I'd take the remote with me.
  11. Riddle me this, Batman: Exactly WHO decides COTY anyway?? Someone told me tonight that this had already been decided, back in August or September, and apparently it isn't Coach Credeur. No, I don't always believe everything I hear - or read, so I'm just asking. Who decides? What is the criteria? When do "they" decide? Inquiring minds want to know.
  12. Obviously ALL of these atheletes are doing a great job, or they wouldn't be where they are now!! ;D Great job!!!
  13. Grrrrr....If I'm gonna loose my job over the playoffs, I at least wanna have my facts straight!! 8)
  14. So, Coop, please clarify for me...WHERE will the Raiders be playing LaMarque, and WHEN????
