  6. I agree...Not many better than C. Michaels, but J. Charles. Jamaal had 4105 yards rushing and 52 TD's in two years. 2051 yds his Jr. year and then 2054 yrds his Sr. year (in just 9 games). I don't have his receiving stats or his Sophomore season stats. In his first game back from shoulder surgery, posted 371 yards on 49 carries against Midland Lee in 2004 ... Had 400 yards on 31 carries and six TDs versus Spring Westfield. Great numbers against great competition. Point made, badndn. However, Michaels achieved those numbers while sharing the backfield with other good backs like Albert Williams, Jordan Garrett, Jeremy Cooper, ect. If he had been the only back playing, I'm quite sure his numbers would have been as good as, or better than Charles'. As it was, Jamal was the feature back when he was in HS, and subsequently got all the carries, while Michaels was sharing the RB duties. If you have to share duties that means your not good enough to have that job. J.Charles was the man he would have taken Williams and Michael's job, making him da man @ wb. No receiving yards but he was a kick returner, and at the mid point of the season they stop kicking it deep, so those yards should go to him. J. Charles was the man. Stupid post. Williams had Big 12 schools recruiting him. Because Michael shared a backfield with williams, he wasn't "good enough to have that job"? Isn't it amazing that LSU wanted him since he wasn't very good? So what plenty of people get recruited and don't see the the field Williams would have been a DB anyway. I said that because if they were on the same team,Charles would be the man without question. And no sharing duties, and what about James Johnson from MHS,Blinn K-State now with the Bengals he kept Charles on the bench n the 10Th grade. I don't have his #'s but the NFL should say something. 8)
  7. Point well taken. The ndns have no athelets. 4.7/4.8 Won't cut it at the skill positions.

  9. Come findout @ 5:30. They've played twice. the series is tied 1-1. Both games have been tight the whole game.
  10. 2003-04 MHS's second year playoffs round three. We're up on Katy 14-7 we have them pinned inside their 15 with 3rd and 12. one play changed the whole game, they dropped back to pass we lost the tight end. They completed the pass 30 yards down and in the same play we lost our #1 shut down db (gorrer now with the NO Saints) The very next play they went to his side and beat the sub for TD. One stop, one stop, that's all we needed and we were going go up by two scores, cause the didn't stop J. Charles at all 271 rushing that night. O'well the year that shoulda been woulda shoulda coulda. :'( :'(
  11. No need for THE GOAT to scout. I only focus on MY team how hard we hit from top to bottom, and how fast we get around the bases. Our only focus is keeping our heads down, turning our hips, keeping our hands inside and knocking the PILL out of the ball. 8) ;D >
  12. Now see, isn't this so much more fun? 8) 8)
  13. Why undersell when you have a good product. Were big, strong, fast, and smart on defense. This is my year. If nothing else scare the other team, make the other team nervous. This is PA's year. Get your outfielders ready!!!!!!!!! ;)
  14. I'm a teacher, and I say throw the book at him to send a message to all the other students.
  15. Yeah right , I'm not falling for that one.
  16. OK,that enough of this. Why is everyone being so modest? I wanna here someone say their team is gonna win the tourney. I can't take it, where is the trash talking. OK I'll start it PA is stronger than ever. I"m picking YANKEES or RAYS both teams hit the ball a mile. Matter fact I have rooms reserved i Irving already. ;D 8)
