I would call this list for the most part questionable... some deserving spots and some well... laughable or should I say unexplainable.  Everyone saying that stats "had to have" played a part in the voting are naive.  I have been told by more than one reliable source that they do not bring up stats, some of the coaches do not even know who some of the players are as well as some coaches nominating kids who had maybe 10 catches the whole season!  Take this list with a grain of salt and congratulate the kids that made it!

I just have to say that I think some of these rankings are not justified. That may be the teams schedule and that my be their record but some of these teams have not played any of the top teams. Where as some teams have had to play ALL of the top teams or will before its over with. Look who some of these teams have played (or not) to get their rankings. I am just saying... in my opinion!! Okay, I feel better now!! By the way I am not talking about the top rankings... look at the bottom half!

Tryouts for the PNG league are supposed to be next week on Monday, July 7, Tuesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 10. The draft is supposed to be on Thursday after tryouts. We are supposed to be receiving phone calls but we haven't yet. ???

I know you may think they need to merge to "unify" the kids but I don't think that is the answer at least not in the LL organization. Our boys have played both LL and Pony and we as well as our boys have found Pony much more enjoyable! Pony is a lot more fast paced and may not be for some but our boys enjoy the competition, LL did not challenge them enough, especially when they were younger. We definitely found what they needed with the Pony organization. I think the name change is good. All that is changing is the name and probably educating the public to what already was!
