  1. John Cooper - 12 Woodville - 7 John Cooper 000 156 0 — 12 11 5 Woodville 200 320 0 — 7 7 3
  2. This is a wonderful story and an excellent demonstration of a community raising responsible members. All too often in these forums we debate which team has the best athletic talent without mention of a commitment to academic progress of the athlete or social development of respect for others. If athletics can provide them the means to a college education - great - but it is education and social growth we should really value. These young men and women are our future leaders - as evidenced by this story.
  3. Congratulations 2006 seniors on your graduation! Good luck against Hemphill on Saturday! Go Eagles!
  4. A Tyner scholarship and now this! - congratulations Trevor! You make your family, your teammates, your Coach, and your community proud!
  5. Tonight Woodville played like the good team they are. Congratulations to the Eagles and Coach Hennigan! - job well done! The Tour continues! And will end in Austin! Go Eagles! '''fy
  6. P.S. Reese Winters did a nice job on the mound today - his defense let him down.
  7. As an Eagles fan this was a difficult game to watch. Not to take too much away from the Elks who executed on defense when it counted and seem to be able to find the holes on offense, the Eagles defense was a nightmare - dropped pop-ups, booting the ball on a base hit - their heads were not in this game. I fully expect this issue to be corrected for tomorrow - if the look on Coach Hennigan's face is any indication of his post game comments to his team. Go Eagles!
  8. Any updates on the Woodville / Elkhart game?
  9. Strike out looking - tough way to end the season for a great player and a great team. Great season Bears!
  10. Exactly! - perhaps he should talk to the state officials. This coach sounds like he is looking for an excuse when his team loses. I have no affliation with either of these teams, but now I would certainly like to see the Bears knock off Brenham.
  11. The logic of this coach's comments right before the big game escapes me. Should he really be spending anytime or energy focusing on the would-of, could-of, should-ofs this situation? He lost the coin toss - the other team decided on one game - deal with it and move forward. He isn't doing his team any favors focusing on this. In fact I bet you if he's spending this much time on it so is his team.
  12. Woodville has one of the best coaches in the business as well in Coach Hennigan. He doesn't overlook anyone - nor does he allow his team to do so. I agree it will be a good series, but I have think the Eagles will emerge the winners.
