The Galena Park Jackets Mens Baseball Team will be hosting a Coed SoftballTournament on May 9, 2009. The tournament will be held at the Galena Park Sports Complex. The entry fee is $125.00 per team for the double elimination tournament. Each team must have 10 players on the field with 2 of them being women. But 2 women must be on the field at all times. The Kingwood Park Coach is the one that wanted to play on Mon. Galena Park has been on standby since the original scheduled date. I don't know, what that Coach is thinking.

Why should it be a shocker that GP won???????????????????? They have a GREAT team this season. Yes, back in the day GP didn't have much of a team. And the school was not known for much talent. They have it, GREAT defense, GOOD pitching, true, they need some bats going, but give them the respect that they earned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They lost 3 games this (DISTRICT) season, but they are just as good as New Caney, Huffman & Barbers Hill. People, just wish them luck to advance. We have waited for a VERY LONG TIME FOR THIS. ??? I was wondering the outcome on the game between Galena Park vs New Caney. Who won? All I heard is how they didn't let each other score for several innings & the amazing plays made by Galena Park's Left Fielder & Center Fielder.
