  1. So next we have basketball (guys and gals are both playing right now.), soccer, baseball, softball, track and field, tennis... am I leaving any athletics out? The Prayer Team plans on continuing its new tradition...
  2. I have never been prouder! The boys were understandably sad by the loss Friday night but they were such gentlemen. They make our whole community look good! Also, the fans that came to the game and escorted our boys back to the stadium reminded them (and me) that our community is NOT going to quit supporting them just because of a loss. There is no shame in Friday's loss; this team has shown us how to act! [move]I love my Raiders!!![/move]
  3. Community Spirit: Lumberton Sonic has purchased a number of tickets and will give a FREE ticket with purchase to the Friday night game! Lumberton Sonic will be giving away FREE tickets to Friday night's game today only - Tuesday, Nov. 27th - from 6p.m. - 8p.m. The Lumberton High School football team has advanced to the Regional Playoffs. The game will be held Friday, November 30, 2007 in Abshier (Deer Park) Stadium at 7:30 p.m. In support of the safety and academics of our students, on Friday, November 30, 2007 each campus will follow an abbreviated schedule to allow attendance to the school function. (side note from Raider#1Fan: have heard this applies to open flames only. There is a place by a practice field where it will be permitted. We do not want to disturb their school day.) *Spectators are not allowed to leave the stadium and return once the game has started. *No outside food may be brought into the stadium; this does not apply to band, drill team or cheerleaders. *Food, drinks, gum, sunflower seeds and tobacco are prohibited at all times around or on the field areas. *Only authorized personnel will be allowed on the field or in the dressing areas before the game, at halftime, or after the game.
