Well, this is not the case at WOS my sister is the boys coach and she knows alot about the game, having played semi pro in Dallas, and having played soccer almost her entire life, real soccer we as kids played in Brazil, Aruba etc.. it is having no support system from the school on up. She herself is trying to figure out a way to finance her team going to the British soccer camp that we have here at GCYSC every summer and getting the club pro to work with her team, so you obviously dont know who or what you are talking about Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha you are saying that the female who coach's the WOS boys/mens soccer team used to play? And she's attempting to get help from British clubs? I mean I'm just trying to make sure I didn't read that statement incorrectly.

You are right it is a lot of he said she said, but it is what he said I happened to be there when said comment was made, so yeah it happened and I don't think it reflected to highly on an already floundering football program. That is why the AD and Football coach should be two different people, especially if the football coach can't get it done in his district. By the way he called to apologize later that day, and in his apology he said it was a privilege for the VARSITY soccer team to get to play on the varsity football field. Hmmmmm I wonder if it should be renamed the Soccer field since more games were won by them on it.

When reading what "emac08" said, it sounded like he was saying with the loss of midfield it will put a lot more pressure on the defense so that could cause them to struggle a little more?.?.?.? And yeah, no one is taking away from Lumbertons defense, they are what keeps the games the way they are.

Yeah I would bet that "Islander" is a glass half empty kind of guy, that's just my own opinion, but I bet he's on to something....

Haha nice post MANU.... I guess you wouldn't happen to know that LCM's defense and keeper have managed to be the 2nd least scored on???? So I wonder if they are just consistent for this long or lucky????? Nederland also gave up way more shots in the box. I'm pretty sure that their keepers back is hurting from carrying that defense at times.

If Vidor can get their leadership straightened out then they should do well, otherwise it's going to be a hard faught game to the very last minute. It will be a game of who steps up and leads for either team.

Yeah it sounds like it was a well played game overall, so the next time should be interesting. And what starting players were missing? I'm just curious cause PN-G sounds like it still held it's own, so that should make the next game just as good if not better.

Wow, thats kind of ironic in a sense. Because last year they took out LCM's goalie and they lost a lot of thier games because they had an inexperienced keeper, now Central knows how that feels. This should show all teams that they should value their goalie if he has experience, because it makes a difference.

Well, there is some good news and some bad news for the people that picked LCM to win. The bad news: they are losing 2-0 at half time, one off of a misjudged ball by the keeper and the other was an indirect kick in front of the goal. Now for the good new: LCM has been down in both the Central and Nederland game and came back to win, and the LCM shot count is double that of Vidor. This is all that I have been told since the end of the first half. And sorry I don't know who scored the goals for Vidor.
