  1. I'm pretty sure there was a little sarcasm in the previous post, WarPaint.
  2. I believe we got hit harder than we've been hit all year. Hussey DOES NOT FUMBLE but he did tonight because he got HIT. They were big and strong and the Bulldogs brought the wood tonight. No excuses, just facts. We didn't have our "A" game and they did. Great year for the Raiders though and I can't wait for the ride next year.
  3. ??? ??? ??? Hey now! You guys are gonna hate on this kid for being selected to the All-American team. > > > In spite of the less than stellar year that Nederland had, I saw this kid up close and in person when they played Waller. He was a man among boys. :o
  4. Need to leave room for the 'Rettes and the Mighty Raider Band. The've been terrific support on the whole ride. My daughter in the Color Guard even knows what's going on on the field.
  5. Wouldn't want to sit that far from my L-Train. I'd rather stand among the thousands in the RABID RAIDER NATION!
  6. http:// It's an open party! No invitations necessary!
  7. Easy Shorty. Gettin' a little testy there aren't we oldtimer?
  8. WHOA THERE BRONCO! You got a lion lookin' at you right now. Don't look past him or he just might jump up and bit you in the a**.
  9. Yep! PNG is class act. Best sportsmanship I saw all year was when a Lumberton player tackled their "Hammer" and got the worst of the deal. Saw a PNG player help him towards the sideline when it was obvious he had his bell rung. Great hit but even greater sportsmanship!
  10. District record is all that matters going into playoffs. What a team does on Friday or Saturday is all that matters after that.
  11. It would appear that those who are up in arms over the use of air horns are confused as to which UIL rules this prohibition applies to. Through some extensive research the only place I could find the use of noise makers mentioned is at the state basketball tournament where they are prohibited. That is not to say that a stadium can't have their own rules regarding such devices which it appears Deer Park does. Maybe our people on the train whistle can get around this the same way they did at Stalworth by staying just outside the stadium. Anyway, I plan to yell my lungs out and have a very quiet Saturday letting my vocal chords recover as best they can. :o :o
  12. the LM head coach did not meet with his team after the game. If that's true it's easier to understand the poor sports comments.
  13. Yeah! Who sits down much anyway. Every time I do I can't see for all the "RABID RAIDER NATION" standing in front of me.
  14. Yep. As soon as that disgrace of a half-time show started I headed for the toilet. Show looked a lot better from there. Got back just in time to see Lumberton.
  15. Nederland beat them with defense. They scored twice on defense and had a short field on the one offensive score.
  16. On any given night..... Yeah I know thats cliched but it's true. If Lumberton plays mistake free, If Lumberton doesn't give up too many big plays, If the defense can get to the QB, If LaMarque over looks the L-Train, if and if and if. If ifs and buts were fruits and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas. The L-Train is just gonna come to play football and let the chips (or ifs) fall where they may. No excuses, no regrets just leaving it all on the field at B-town. I'm ready! Are you, Coog fans?
  17. Barbay & Hooks? Maybe coach of the century. It seems like they've been here that long and have been producing winners the whole time. COTY should go to the guy who has improved his team the most for that year. Credeur, hands down.
