Anything is possible. Central and PNG both had the two highest scoring offenses in the district in 2013 2014 and 2015. In 2013 the score was 16-16 at the end of regualtion. We lost 31-29(still stings) after 3 OTs. 2014 the score was 21-21 at the end of regulation with the final score being 29-21 after 2 OTs in favor of Central. And in 2015 the score was just 21-7. Heck even last year i believe both defenses played pretty solid until Johnson turn on the gas late in the game. So no matter how good the offenses are, this series has shown that both teams are more than capable of making this defensive slugfest -

This Game will come down to the QB battle. Davis will have to play the best game of his life But i believe he is capable of doing so. Because we now Johnson will get his. But as i said a few days ago; I strangely expect a defensive slug fest.I just feel it in my gut. Port Neches Groves-21 Central-24 -

Jag Insider man you broke my heart bringing up the Summer Creek Score. That was my last game in high school. The final score is misleading it was a close 10-3 game until they scored twice and we scored a late TD(missed PAT) in the game. Summer Creek was #4 at the time and we took them to the wire. We outgained their offense 500 yards to about 250 on their part but our offense couldnt get it in the endzone. We held them to their lowest point and yard total all season and we forced 4 turnovers. That games still hurts because had our offense took advantage no doubt we woulda pulled the upset lol -

That 2nd CE King game was brutal.......Foreman and Lockes butchered that game with piss poor playcalling down the stretch offensively and on defense. That game pissed my soul off. Those boys season shouldn't have ended that way -

What surprises me about Central over the years is that in games they should win(aside from Ozen,Lee, and Livingston) they play mess around and struggle and yet in turn fight tooth and nail in games that no one gives them a shot at winning -

You........You MONSTER!!!!! -
I heard that growing up....but i dont believe in that saying as much any more because my senior year against LCM we beat them like 49-14 but as the game went on LCM players started doing dirty and egregious to us right in front of refs. The officiating was so bad even tho we won by a large margin Coach Foreman still sent the film in to the UIL. My teammate got slung down by his facemask and when the looks to the ref he tells him "shut up you're up by 40 pts" thats not acceptable from an offical. No matter what the score is they are still supposed to call it fair. thats how players get hurt. No matter what the score is refs can still call egregious garbage.

That was the most 1 sided half of officiating I have ever witnessed......even down to the last minutes those officials pulled multiple penalties out of thin air. There is no way in hell you throw that many flags against 1 team in that short amount of time. Especially when the teams are right in front of our eyes
