I think it will be a very exciting game with neither team backing down on defense. The key to winning will be staying out of foul trouble. Both teams are very aggressive. I'm going with Kountze by 6 or 8.

Please before you jump in with your opinion, get the facts!!!! Kountze is now 5-0 in District. They play EC on Tuesday. I believe but don't quote, they are also 5-0 in district.

I believe, but don't quote me, the last of the little dribbler group from Silsbee graduated last year. There will be NO competitive team at Silsbee untill they decide that basketball is important and start the Little Dribbler program again. Also, Coach K is a great man. The way the girls act off of the court is a direct reflection of their parents and community. We don't know if Coach hammered them before the game because of that behavior . I will assume he did.

Well, Kountze and HJ have not played so . . . . I would find it hard to say without hesitation that HJ is better than Kountze. Have they played any of the same teams? Have they played in any of the same tournaments? You're basing your opinion on what?

You can have true athletes but not have the best team. You get a team that all 5 girls play together with a coach that can make split-second adjustments, then you have a force that is more powerful than an athlete that may or may not have the coaching or the other teammates on the same page.

All teams worked thier butts off. Congrats to everyone, especially kountze cuz they played 9 games in a row! Way to go ya'll... and i think that the playoff should have determined place as well as seed.

Kountze beat hardin in 5 last night. Hardin started off strong and won the first two games but the lionettes fought hard back winning the next 3. Way to go Lionettes... UNDEFEATED IN DISTRICT!! ;D

even though warren didnt have the starters and they may have them next time i still think it'll be a tough game. warren didnt have their starters and kountze definately didnt play very well. . . it should be an awesome game when kountze and warren meet again.

just like you said, there is no I in team that is why i think that kountze lionettes should take it all the way! these girls work well together and its not just one, two, or three players that run the team! they play so well together. the coach has the players ready and even though 2 of the girls wont be back from volleyball at the beginning of the season due to playoff (fingers crossed) by the time district rolls around it should be lionettes all the way!!! ;D
