No we're still here!!!!!!!!! The L-Train is here to stay. Just spending the off season changing a few things. Scrubbing the tailgate party grill, makin out the menu for the 2007-08 season, signing up new recruits, signing contracts for the Games of The Week with KFDM, and putting a new coat of paint on the 2007-2008 L-Train. There is a ton of work to be done in the offseason. By the way, there are a few sits available first come first serve. GO L-TRAIN

YourDaddy, No one from Lumberton feels mistreated. You wont be able to pull the L-Train fans into this fight. We are very proud of our Cody. If I may, NO ONE ON THE L-TRAIN feels that 4 or 5 of our kids should have made it. On Dayton, you must not have watched them play to say they must not have had a standout. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG !!!!!!!!!! They have standouts on and off the field. Congrats to DJ for being a good player. If DJ was from Lumberton we would be proud that he made it but would also feel there should have been other people worthy of the award..........

WOS diehard fans, Remember, when you have a program as succuessful as your program has been over the last 30 years, it is hard to deal with losing. There are many programs in the Golden Triangle area that would love to trade places with your program. I could only dream of dealing with ya'lls type of problem. When you have many years of success a slight drop in performance is hard to swollow. Hold your heads high and a word of caution, becareful not to pick your program apart based on 1 loss. You guys expect to win it all very year and that is a great mentality, but it's not realistic. Your coaching staff has proved year after year that they can and will solve the problem areas. Next year ya'll will be at the top again, just remember to shot for the stars and if you hit the moon you are still OK. Great season WOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Raiders !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pain Train, Pain Train, Pain Train, Where have you been all season ??????????? If you've been a Lumberton HATER, you have been so quite. Why just log on November 30th at 10:43 pm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We did get beat by a very good Waller team. I NEVER heard any TRUE L-Train member run Waller down. Nothing but RESPECT before the game, during the game, and after the game. Get ALL your facts straight before you post some sort of CRAP. Now for the good stuff. Thanks to all the true High School Football followers that have posted very nice comments about the Raiders. I really appreciate the way PNG handle our 1st playoff run, they only gave congrats and well wishes in our run. By the way, they (PNG) were the only team that could have run their mouths but instead they appreciated what the Raiders were doing. Good lucky to the Broncos next weekend. I hope yall will let a Proud L-Train member sit on your side of the stands. Can't wait to see the game. Go Broncos !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ST4life, Get the chip off your shoulder, everyone on here has said LM was not at their top form. I was there in the stands when we lost 46-7 (I think). We (Raiders) can only play who is placed on the field and that is it. We have 1 lost and that is it. Hopefully, we will not lose.

No problem. We will have some HOT food on friday, the DP folks will let us electrically cook some food. Where their's a will their's a way!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds like those Raiders. Why can't we all just get alone. I know the boys from Lumberton and we are proud of WOS for what they have done. BUT this is not the area to talk about WOS, this is the Lumberton/Waller field--Deer Park/SETXSPORTS.COM WILL BROADCAST GAME. I believe that is what BIG HOUSE is talkin about !!!!!!!!! I called and talk to the Head Coach (very nice man) we can tailgate but can not have an open flame of any type. He ask me to make sure no trash was left and I assured him we would clean up. Also, he asked how many people I thought would be at the game and I told him between 8-10K. WHO REALLY KNOWS. He added that we would have additional sits on the Waller side. He called the Waller coach and he had no problem with that at all. He was very nice and I thanked him for allowing us to play on his field and I invited his entire staff to our tailgate party. I explained that the food of choice was some nice tender but mangled BULLDOGS. He declined the BULLDOG but may eat a ham sandwich. Please do not bring an open flame of any type. I told him the LUMBERTON fans were good people and would not break the tailgating rule. He added that no air horns were allowed, I told him that I would leave mine at home. NOW the AIRHORN stuff ....... your own your own. I only committed to no open flames, I explained that people would probably be bring airhorns because of our tradition. We just do not want to penalize our team for some horn, if that is possible. Some one smarter than I will know that rule.

I hope the jerseys that Coach C gives them is large enough uniform for all the heart those boys will put in them Friday nite. Can you really image how these boys are feelin on the inside. MikeEast, I hope your not fallen into the wounded animal syndrone. Very few people but the LUMBERTON FAITHFUL believed we could win. All we heard was LM, LM, LM, etc...... Now that the little COOGs lost your not felling sorry for them are you????? They of all people should know how to act win or lose, after all they have been a powerhouse for years. Tradition wise, PNG has a much pride as any school in the state. Last night after they took it on the chin they lined up on the 50 and shook hands and gave congrats to the Mustangs. PNG understood that they got beat by the better team last nite. Please understand, I like PNG. They just got beat. No one layed on the field, NO ONE walked to the locker room, they waited there turn on the 50 and shook hands. At half time neither band marched and each school played one song and the other band would dance at the others song. This went one for 20 mins. THIS IS CLASS !!!!!! The MUSTANGS had plenty of player at the end of the game that made stupid late hits. Each time the coach pulled them out of the game and ripped there tail. I think the LAMAR CONSOLIDATED COACHES need to hold a clinic on how remove bad apples. The problem is kids will get as close to the line as possible until someone tells them to stop. The LM COACH should be handing out stickers and shopping carts at WALMART. He let it happen and this was not the first time. You could tell they have had practice at acting this way, they were like a pro. Once again, we know about their winning tradition, but I saw PNG last night. A few of the boys cryed as they walked to the locker room for the last time. By the way, I sheaded a tear with them. They lost with CLASS. LM over all can not SPELL class, hopefully someone will send them PNG's final minutes on the field so they will know how to act. GO INDIANS, hold your hears up high. Congrats to LM on what most teams would call a great season. There were many years the L-Train would have traded places with you. I believe we just saw a team that had so much expectations placed on them that they imploded as a team. Only a few players showed themself and it affected the TEAM. It is called pressure, the L-Train and LM's past put pressure on a team that was good, but wasn't great. Takin nothing away from them but to act the way some of the players acted at the end of the game was less than a Champion. It was a treat to see a team with so much speed and so many good players on one team. The best feeling of it all is that the L-TRAIN ran over the Coguars ( WOOOOOOOOOOSH). Goooooooooooooooooooooo RAIDERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Attention, attention can anyone find C4L or Bounce, I mean Pounce. I hear the bouncing of a B Ball !!!!!

C4L, Where does the past come into play on Friday nite?????? The C's have a very good history in the playoffs, no doubt. But, yall have been beaten by our Head Coach in 99 and PNG was the overwhelming underdog. Does this sound fimilar????????????? The L-Freaking Train is going to Baytown with a full head of steam and I suggest that the Cougars get out of the way. You guys know nothing about the L-Train because we do not have the history that yall have. Everyone knows what yall do and how yall do it. The only player that yall know by name is Cody Hussey, remember there are more than just him !!!!!!!!!! ASK DAYTON. O lest I forget, ask NEDERLAND (10 yr straight playoff appearances, until the L-Train ran over the Dogs in 2007). Im out of here, going to get on the L-Train !!!!!!!!!!

Wait a minute texans, we love our team like everyone else that will post comments about their team. We have the right to have a comment about the L-Train because were playin on FRIDAY NITE. I had never heard a diehard fan believe that their team would ever lose before a game is played. We feel no different than Dayton, PNG, WB, WOS, etc... Also, I know most of our fans and know 99% of the players and we remember where we have come from and show no disrepect to any team or player. We usually are playin BBall at this time of the year. Give us some credit and just give us some air time, we have heard about Nederland and PNG for years (two good programs for many years). NOW ITS OUR TIME. Do not mistake our L-TRAIN pride for arrogance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! L-Train will have a W on FRIDAY NITE.

L will win. Do not count N out becasue 1 bad game. Dayton has the ablity to make any team look bad. Just a few words to all, remember these kids have put alot of time in showing all fans a good time on friday nites. My hats off to all teams and its sad that L or N will be watching 22-4A games on Nov 16th. I hope both teams bring the entire team healthly and show us a good time for about 3 hours.
