  1. It was the Tramain Thomas show - but several Bucs stepped up their game tonight and played extremely well also. Great team effort. Anahuac is mighty fast and athletic. Great job to both teams.
  2. I was refering to the Hardin game in my post. Someone said that Thomas was a full strength and that that is why we won against Hardin. I was merely pointing out that Thomas wasn't at full power in the Hardin game and that EC stepped up. And I am afraid that Vance might be out of commission for a little bit. I hope not, though.
  3. To whom are you referring because I would really like to know who still believes, after the Hardin game, that Tramain is the only player on the East Chambers team?
  4. Tramain wasn't at the top of his game. The rest of the East Chambers team just stepped up and played their hearts out, just like they will this Friday against CC!
  5. Congrats Kountze. There is one bad thing about making the playoffs and that is the fact that, unless you win state, you end your season with a loss. Kountze, however, did really well and got to end a great season with a win. Way to go out with a BANG! Good job again.
  6. Beat us in everything? That is rich. You won in football, congrats, that is the first time in quite some time. Be happy. Basketball is going to be tough. It ALWAYS is. But, just to give you a news flash, there are things other than athletics: they're called academics and we utterly cream you in all things academic every year. UIL District, CX Debate, OAP, everything else, we win. So good luck to you trying to find yourself enough things to keep you warm because, by my count, there aren't enough events left for you to win in to sway the tally to your side. And thank you HF-Mom and D-villefan for your support. We really appreciate it. That is what really keeps me warm, having support from our neighbours, not something so trivial as a win people are going to forget five years down the road. Thanks again, though, we look forward to rooting the Bucs on with you at CC.
  7. Overrated team? Okay, I guess that is a bitter pill to swallow. But, lets see if you can handle your own medicine, huh? We lost to Kountze with Thomas injured (not hurt, there was no "boo boo" on his leg), that did happen. But I would like to see how Hardin does without Marsh. From the way that the Hardin people talk him up, it would appear that the biggest "stinger" the Hornets have is him. Take away a Hornet's stinger and what do you have? A fly, ready to be swat.
  8. EC is lucky to have a well rounded athlete like Tramain.
  9. That is really uncalled for. You can speak now since your finally enjoying winning over a big team, but such blatant insulting debasing behavior is really not what this forum is about. You just make Kountze seem unsportsmanlike with that post. One bad apple ruins the bunch, as the maxim goes.
  10. I hope that Tramain is ready for the game. But, even if he isn't, the rest of our team, without a doubt, will be.
  11. It isn't that our coaching staff didn't have faith in our team, but Tramain provides a standard around which our team can rally. He can be a catalyst that fires up our team to play better than they would normally. That is the extra-dimension that Tramain Thomas adds to the East Chambers team. Not only can he make himself look good on the field, but he can make others look AND play good. That move by the coaches could have been all about inspiration. And very well said, Melanie. It takes a team to win a football game. GO BUCS!
