i graduated with marcus thompson and know michael as well. i think both would be an awesome addition to the mustang baseball coaching staff michael shugart (assistant at wo-s) would be a good head coach too.

i would cause the way football is played now with almost all schools running a shotgun formation. it helps with the quarterbacks and receivers to get their timing down.

its good for fans but it might give one team an unfair advantage if the team is only 30 miles from the site compared to a team that is 400 miles from the site

the 87 wos team without a doubt. could have possibly been the best in the country that year. the defense was incredible. and the running game was awesome too with terence brown.

drove in port arthur the other day. the stadium looked pretty rough. their goalposts were bent in different directions.

when jasper and wos get together its always a battle. its been that way since the 80's. even though were an hour away from jasper i'd say that they've always been one of our best rivals.

WO-S at Dayton, i dont know how good dayton is but in the past i know they've always had solid teams. should be a good test for the stangs early in the season

2 of the best games i ever saw was the 89 wos vs. ned game sheldon smith caught a touchdown pass with 41 seconds left in the fourth quarter. the most hyped game was also in the 89 season against png. i still to this day have never seen so many fans in mustang stadium. and once again it took fourth quarter heroics to win for the stangs. Sheldon smith caught a long pass with about 6 min. left in the game, and in typical mustang fashion the defense held on for the win. the most memorable definitely was that png game. ive been to many games since 1985 but nothing could compare to the buildup to that game. i don't think they could have fit anymore fans in the stadium not even for standing room.
